Windows 7 ホストで実行されている Virtualbox 5.2.8 のゲストとして Ubuntu 17.10 があります。 WaylandではなくXorgを使用しています。以前はうまくいきましたが、数日前にシステムを再起動していましたが、Xorgはもはやvirtualboxディスプレイドライバを見つけられず、通常のフレームバッファのみを使用できます（つまり、自動サイズ変更は機能せず、2つの設定（モニタの1つ））。
CDイメージからゲスト追加エントリを再インストールしてみましたが、正常に動作しましたが、再起動後も何も変わりませんでした。適切なカーネルモジュールがインストールされているようです。dmesgこれは正しくロードされていることを示します。

しかし、Xorgを起動すると、ドライバが欠落しているという文句が表示されます。

を見ると、/usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers実際にドライバモジュールがインストールされていません。vboxvideoすべてが正常に動作していたため、最後に再起動したときにドライバモジュールがあったに違いありません。
このドライバーはどこから来ましたか？ Virtualboxゲストの追加インストールスクリプトがインストールされていませんか？それとも別の場所にインストールする必要がありますか？ （私はVirtualbox 5.2を使用しており、Ubuntuが使用しているvirtualboxのバージョンは5.1なので、Ubuntuが提供するゲストアドインがこのホストでは機能しないため、使用するのは「オプション」ではありません）？
