Alsa vdownmixの設定 - 他のデバイスで使用する方法は？

5.1サラウンドオーディオを2.0ステレオにダウンミックスするようにALSAを設定しようとしています。この機能を実行するALSA出力プラグインがありますが、vdownmixUSBサウンドカードがデフォルトに設定されていても、USBサウンドカードではなくオンボードオーディオでのみ使用できるようです。問題の設定は/usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf.d/60-vdownmix.conf（Debian Bullseyeでlibasound2-plugins）：
