NIS ユーザーは、クライアントシステムで yppasswd を使用できません。

私はNISを介してユーザーを認証するシステムを管理していますが、yppasswdユーザーがNISを使用してパスワードを変更しようとすると問題が発生します。エラーが発生しました。

yppasswd: yppasswdd not running on NIS master host ("localhost").

Web上の他のアドバイスに従って、/etc/hostsクライアントのIPの代わりに127.0.0.1クライアントのホスト名を指すエントリを設定してみました。これはうまくいきません。
