centOS 7では、どのマルチメディアサポートを使用する必要がありますか？

最近Cent OS7をインストールしました。一見するととてもよさそうです。
しかし、まもなくマルチメディアサポートが不都合であることに気づきました。独自のプレーヤーは必要なコーデックをインストールできません。これはDebian OSでははるかに簡単です。
VLCを手動でインストールしようとすると、yum install vlc一連の依存関係の問題が表示されます。
