いいえ、そうではありません。両方の場所にリポジトリを追加できます。ディレクトリで終わるすべてのファイル（ファイルにエントリを追加すると、より多くのエントリを/etc/apt/sources.list追加できますが、以前のエントリはデフォルトです）ので、ディレクトリ内のファイルを確認し、不要なファイルを削除します。.list/etc/apt/sources.list.d/apt.conf
一方、LaunchPadはDebianパッケージをビルドしないため、LaunchPad PPAのパッケージを使用しないことをお勧めします。
