デスクトップの背景を復元する方法は？

突然、Xfceのデスクトップの背景が消えたが、なぜ表示されないのか分からないようです。

設定マネージャ>デスクトップ>追加（+）> /usr/share/Backgrounds/xfceを開くと、画像は表示されません（このディレクトリにxfce-blue.jpg画像があるにもかかわらず）。

背景画像を再インポートするにはどうすればよいですか？

参考としての背景はlightdm表示されません（にも設定されています/usr/share/backgrounds/xfce-blue.jpg）。
