4GBのUSBスティック上に約200MBのパーティションがddによって作成された可能性があります。 GPartedを使用して削除することはできません（右クリックメニューでそのオプションがグレー表示されます）。

端末を開く

steve@mcr-pc-29334:~$ sudo fdisk  /dev/sdb

WARNING: DOS-compatible mode is deprecated. It's strongly recommended to
         switch off the mode (command 'c') and change display units to
         sectors (command 'u').

Command (m for help): d                   
Selected partition 1

Command (m for help): w
The partition table has been altered!

Calling ioctl() to re-read partition table.

The kernel still uses the old table. The new table will be used at
the next reboot or after you run partprobe(8) or kpartx(8)

だからsudo fdisk /dev/sdb

次にdを押します。

パーティションを削除してください。唯一のパーティションの場合は自動的に選択され、それ以外の場合はパーティション番号の入力を求められます。

次に w を押して変更をディスクに書き込みます。
