Ubuntu 14.04にLAMPとWebインターフェイスのroundcubeをインストールしましたが、Apacheは実行されません。 $ sudo a2ensite roundcube apache2 don't run apacheと入力すると、次のメッセージが表示されます。
/etc/apache2/sites-available# service apache2 reload

The Apache error log may have more information.

構成にログディレクトリが定義されているように見えますが、そのディレクトリは実際には存在しません。
以下を試してください。
mkdir -p /var/log/apache2/webmail.example.com/
chown apache:apache /var/log/apache2/webmail.example.com/
