SSLを購入してブラウザで設定してみました。ポートはルーターのサーバーに転送され、SSL証明書が正しくインストールされていると思います（Apacheは正常に起動します）。
IPtablesファイアウォールでポートが開いていてもリスンポートを一覧表示すると、ポート443でリッスンしているエントリは表示されません。
私の設定（LAMPサーバーがあるデフォルトのdebian 7）を確認し、ports.confファイルに次のものがあります。

活性化しましたmod_sslか？ Debianを実行しているため、実行できるタスクは次のとおりです（rootで実行するか、sudoを介して実行）。
